TLDL;

The PCs descend into the secret door in the Crypt.

They find Cult of Flame members restraining one of the “strange beings: Teeja warned them about in the crypt.

It was a stitched up human with hollow looking eyes with a massive gem implanted in her forehead.

Aileth and Iyashi are ambushed by a black ooze that corrodes their weapons and armor.

After some more fighting the group comes to a door where they hear a heavy body dragging itself on the floor, and low but steady chanting.

They open the door and find a basilisk.

The kill it, but not before Aileth is turned to stone.

They group escapes the crypt and heads to Teeja’s house to see if she can cure Aileth.

The arrive at the house to see signs of a struggle and that Teeja is gone.
