TLDL;

• After defeating an Alpha Grick the group runs into the Shadow again

• She ran into cultists trying to open the Tiamat door

• Before confronting the cultists the party overhear a conversation between their strange nemesis Theyuss and a weird canid/ humanoid creature named Fenroe

• Theyuss summons the remains of Grimtwinkle from Cassiel’s bag and reanimates him into an undead/ draconic/ evil/ gnome/ wizard under his command

• The cultists open the door where a single obsidian claw rested on a pedestal, Theyuss jams this claw onto his stump of an arm where it fuses to it and becomes flesh

• Theyuss leaves with Grimtwinkle and the PCs fight the cultists while Fenroe sits in a corner uninterested

• The PCs win after even after a Vrock is summoned through a demon door and second floor of the Grotto is now cleared

• The PCs meet Fenroe who seems to ally himself with them, giving them the means to contact him and ask him questions.

• The PCs gather their magic items, gold, and mysterious book from the dungeon and head up to Acelea where they report their success

• The city throws a party for the PCs

• Torbin wakes up the next morning to find Trixie the barkeep murdered in her inn
